2020年12月16日，欧盟委员会发布了法规(EU) 2020/2096，修订REACH法规(EC) No 1907/2006附录XVII多个项目及更新偶氮染色剂的测试方法。除个别物质另有规定外，此修订将于2021年1月5日生效。以下是修订的要点：
修订第3项（被认为是危险的液体物质或混合物）
将删除此项中的“R65”危险警语（限制的第3点和第5点）。
将删除第6点和第7点。
修订第28、29和30项（被分类为第1A类或第1B类的致癌物质、第1A类或第1B类的致基因突变的物质以及第1A类或第1B类的生殖毒性物质）
此三项限制将不适用于欧盟法规(EU) 2017/45所涵盖的设备。
