2022年5月14日,加拿大在其官方公报上发布了拟议的《禁止特定有毒物质法规2022》。75天的公众咨询已经开始,并将于 2022 年 7 月 28 日结束。
拟议法规在最终法规生效之日起将废除并取代《禁止特定有毒物质法规2012》(现行法规)。
拟议法规新增加了对得克隆DP(Dechlorane Plus)和十溴二苯乙烷DBDPE(Decabromodiphenyl ethane)以及含有这些物质的产品的制造、使用、销售和进口实施限制。
拟议议法规还通过取消某些豁免或限制现行法规允许活动的方式进一步限制全氟辛烷磺酸PFOS、全氟辛酸PFOA、长链全氟羧酸LC-PFCAs、六溴环十二烷HBCD和多溴二苯醚PBDEs以及含有这些物质的产品的制造、使用、销售和进口。此外,拟议法规还包括了这些物质的浓度阈值;如果物质存在于或低于此阈值时,这些物质的存在将被认为是偶然存在,禁令将不适用。
